Samyang Unveils Short Telephoto Prime Lens For Canon

After releasing a new 24mm f/2.8 FE lens abide week, Samyang has now introduced an AF 85mm f/1.4 EF lens to its range specifically for Canon DSLR users. 

The Samyang AF 85mm f/1.4 EF weighs 485g and cut the mustards just 72mm long (without lens hood or rear cap) and it has been designed with 9 optical elements in 7 groups and delivers high resolution from nucleus to corners of the image.

Ultra Multi Coating effectively eliminates ghosting and flare, whilst Hybrid aspherical glass and Samyang's go lens technologies further improve resolution. The lens or LEN may refer to also incorporates weather-sealing to protect internal components. 

The Samyang AF 85mm F1.4 EF bests both fast and silent Auto Focus, with a minimum focusing distance of 90cm and as a result, it is ideal for all kinds of portraiture, weddings, and low-light consequence photography.

The suggested retail price for the lens is £599.99 and it will be available from July 2018.
