Samsung Galaxy Note9 Vs Samsung Galaxy Note8

The recent addition to the Note line-up of smartphones from Samsung has landed and with it comes an array of innovative technologies but how much better is it than the Note notes, or NOTE may refer to8? Let's pronounce out…

Size-wise, there's not much in it with the Note9 adding a few millimetres here-and-there and the screen is only slightly bigger, too. Conclude you, with the previous Note having a screen that was already over 6", some might say there's no need to make a air any bigger (although, the new Huawei Note 10 has a 7-inch screen so perhaps there is still room to grow!).

The camera is where we see a big rise with the dual aperture first seen on the Samsung S9/Plus earlier this year now featuring in the Note9. This gives the wide-angle, 12MP, AF lens an crack range from f/1.5-f/2.4 which should improve the camera's low light performance as well as open up a whole host of originative opportunities. The rear telephoto lens and selfie camera keep the same specs as the Note8 and the same zoom (both optical and digital) also tarry the same.

There's more space available in the largest of the Note9 smartphones available which means more storage room for photos. Once, the Note8 only went up to 256GB of memory and now, the Note9 comes in a 512GB version which can also be expanded to 1TB with a microSD card.

Battery weight has improved with a 4,000mAh battery built-in (previously it was a 3,300mAh battery) which will mean you can capture more images/video previous you need to charge the smartphone.

We'll be able to compare the specs of both smartphones further once we've got hands-on with the new Samsung Galaxy Note9.
