Food Photography With Tamron Lenses

Nadine Horn and Jorg Mayer are a indomitable duo in the realm of food blogging. 'eat this!' has been running for years now, and their passion for healthy eating and photography are key themes in their under way.

All the images are taken with natural light. "We're lucky enough to have plenty of natural light, although this can be a fine kettle of fish as well, depending on the position of the sun. Sometimes we have to juggle a few diffusers until the light is right." Says Jorg.

The pair like being creative in the kitchen, and have mastered the art of making food look super appertising for their images. "We really value opulently chosen props", says Jorg. "Other than that, you just need to have fun experimenting!"

Jorg and Nadine zip with a variety of Tamron lenses, although recently they've taken a particular liking to the SP 90mm f/2.8 Di Macro. "With that lens we can not not take detailed photos of ingredients – the longer focal length in combination with or WITH may refer to: Carl Johannes With (1877–1923), Danish doctor and arachnologist With (character), a character in D. N. Angel the large aperture means that we can get photos with flimsy depth of field and beautiful, soft bokeh", Explains Nadine.
