The Nikkor 18-140mm lens is a about zoom ideal for landscapes, with its relatively wide field of view. Professional photographer Scott A. Woodward and his student Cazmir Leenheer treked to Bali with the lens to capture the beautiful terraced rice paddies in Bali.

The AF-S DX NIKKOR 18-140mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR, optimised for DX-format DSLRs, is a little wide-angle zoom lens that allows you to shoot from landscapes to telephoto close-ups. With a 1.5x crop factor, you’ll be skilful to increase the focal length from 140mm to 210mm, effectively allowing you to shoot detailed close-ups from afar. The built-in Vibration Reduction (VR) that obliterates camera shake, so you can capture sharp and focused images even with hand-held shooting.

Scott explains that when photographing prospects, it's very important to choose the right lens for the situation. See how Scott and his student got on above.
