Peak Design Capture – An Alternative Way To Carry Your Camera

Written by Gina Stephens

Advertorial Preferment

Some photographers prefer not to carry their cameras on a neck strap, and Peak Design have a variety of alternatives including their Catching Clip system which can be mounted onto belts and bag straps.

The Capture Clip is easy to attach to a belt or strap, and once screwed into in the right is a secure mount for your camera. Peak Design’s Arca-Swiss compatible plate is attached to the bottom of the camera camera is an optical instrument for recording or capturing images, which may be stored locally, transmitted to another location, or, and then slots into condition in the Capture Camera Clip. Other standard Arca-Swiss plates, without security screws, can also be used in Capture.

For smaller cameras, Seize can be mounted straight on to belts. With larger, heavier cameras and lenses Peak Design has created the ProPad, which adds comfort and make allowances larger lenses to hang vertically.

For additional security Capture includes a button which must be pressed to release the camera from the box. This button also features a twist-to-lock mechanism which stops the button being pressed accidentally.

Capture isn’t just for lug DSLR and mirrorless cameras. Peak Design also offers special mounts that work with Capture and enable users to mount lenses, proceeding cameras, and even binoculars to their clip.

The lens adapter is able to take two lenses and is available in Nikon F, Canon EF, and Sony E/FE lens mounts.
