'Chasmal Burn Blue' By Stumars

This week's Photo of the Week (POTW) accolade has been awarded to locality member Stumars who has captured an eye-catching image image (from Latin: imago) is an artifact that depicts visual perception, for example, a photo or a two-dimensional picture, that of Whitby's famous piers.

Here's why the ePHOTOzine team has awarded 'The waves Burn Blue' the POTW title this week: "It can be difficult to capture an image in a popular tourist location that racks out from the crowd but this image has, very much, succeeded in being recognisable but still different enough to make it attention-grabbing.

The sunset twists, which almost appear pastel thanks to the long exposure used, are what first grab you then your eyes are guided be means of the image from pier-to-pier. As it's sunset, there's also a lovely warmth to the brickwork which contrasts well against the uninterrupted blues of the sea below.

Sunset, coastal and a long exposure – what's there not to like?"

Stumars, like all previous POTW victors this year, receive an EVO Plus 32GB MicroSD card with SD Adapter from Samsung.
