Sponsor in February, Vivo shared a concept smartphone with the world and according to tech site The Verge, the smartphone, with its huge telly and pop-up selfie camera, could be making its debut in June.
The company has, apparently, sent out invitations that insinuate the Apex could be launched on 12 June in Shanghai. The invite also has an image of a smartphone on it with a tiny bezel and a huge screen, something, if you commemorate back to February, Vivo said the Apex would have. As well as a large screen, the Apex will have an 8MP 'pop-up' main camera so it doesn't have to sit in the top bezel, making room for the bigger screen.
Vivo has also released a video advert promoting the 2018 FIFA On cloud nine Cup (of which they are the official smartphone sponsor) which features a smartphone smartphone is a handheld personal computer with a mobile operating system and an integrated mobile broadband cellular network with minimal bezel, no top-notch for a front facing camera and a jumbo display. The selfie camera that rises and descends from the top of the smartphone can also be seen in use.
