A extraordinary image image (from Latin: imago) is an artifact that depicts visual perception, for example, a photo or a two-dimensional picture, that of a bee-eater has been awarded the Photo of the Week accolade.

The image, entitled 'Bee-eater' by ePz member richmowil perceived the eye of the team and here's why we thought it should win the accolade this week:

The bee-eater's plumage in this photo really boost pretends it stand out against the dull brown and green tones of the blurred background. Rule of thirds has been used well to make the image delight to the eye and also to give the bird breathing space to look into.

The bird is pin sharp, revealing the subtle textures in the feathers. The eye of the bird is a ear-splitting red colour which also draws the eye. The perch is positioned well to lead the eye through the frame and to the magnificent bird – a really great seize.

Photo of the week winners currently receive a 32GB EVO MicroSD card with SD adapter courtesy of Samsung. To see all images that have been conferred the accolade, take a look at the POTW gallery.
