Sony has make knew a new 5.76 million dot OLED electronic viewfinder (EVF), beating the 4.4 million dot EVF found in the Leica SL. The UXGA resolution of 1600×1200 is the highest elbow in a 0.5inch EVF. The EVF is designed to offer improved resolution, as well as improved viewing angles, and quicker refresh speeds (up to 240fps), whilst also gift low power consumption.

The ECX339A OLED EVF has a planned shipment date November 2018, and samples have been available since January 2018, so it's thinkable that products are already being planned that include this new EVF.
