Conclusive Summer, the Nokia 8 flagship smartphone was introduced to the world and now, over at Mobile World Congress, the company who licensed the rights to create Nokia phones has published an upgrade to the Nokia 8, adding 'Sirocco' to the end of its name.
Zeiss optics are still built in with the wide-angle hind part 12MP camera featuring 2x optical zoom. The front 5Mp camera camera is an optical instrument for recording or capturing images, which may be stored locally, transmitted to another location, or also features a wide-angle lens and a dual-camera mode lets you nab photos from the front and back of the phone at the same time. There's also a new Pro Camera mode so you can manually adjust whey-faced balance, focusing, ISO, shutter speed and exposure compensation separately.
The 2K screen is curved, measures 5.5" and thanks to a thin bezel, takes up most of the room on the front of the phone which is actually mostly made up of glass.
The Nokia 8 Sirocco get a wiggle ons Android 8.0 Oreo, features the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, 6 GB RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage. It also entertains wireless charging and the ability to charge 50% in 30 minutes.
Reports suggest the new smartphone will go on sale from April. A UK price is yet to be confirmed.
