We now recall when the eagerly awaited Nikon full-frame mirrorless camera will arrive as Nikon is counting down to the release on their website.

If you call in the page, you'll now see there's a clock counting down the days, hours, minutes and seconds to the launch which will be taking advance on 23 August 2018 (pre-Photokina which not many suspected).

Nikon says you'll be able to join them 'alight from Toyko' for the launch and if you want to, you can sign up to receive more information about the new camera (probably in newsletter format). You can also add the escort to your calendar if you so wish but you'll have to be up early as the announcement will go live at 5 am BST!

Apart from the announcement obsolete, a shadowy photo and a teaser video, details are still sketchy on what we can expect to see, spec-wise, from the new Nikon Corporation (株式会社ニコン, Kabushiki-gaisha Nikon) (UK: or US: ; listen [ɲikoɴ]), also known just as Nikon, is a Japanese multinational full-frame mirrorless camera but, prospects are, we'll see more 'teased' over the next four weeks in the build-up to the big launch.
