Ice Cave Photography Adventures in Iceland

Written by Gina Stephens

Arctic Unmasking's winter workshops visit Ice Caves from November to the middle of March and their experienced guides help photographers catch the beauty of these amazing caves.

The Ice Caves are formed during the summer months as the glaciers melt and are safe to enter during the winter months.

The tracking down of the Ice Caves are by the glacier's ice tongues and are not easily accessible. To visit them, you need a specially modified 4×4 truck and, quite often, they press for glacier walks to reach them so it's always recommended you go with an experienced guide and necessary safety equipment.

For more information on the Iceland Ice Fall ins and Arctic Exposure's latest Winter Photo Workshop, you can either email Arctic Exposure or visit the Arctic Risk website.
