Fujifilm Finally Officially Announce The Fujinon GF 250mm f/4 R LM OIS WR

The Fujifilm Fujinon GF 250mm f/4 R LM OIS WR telephoto prime lens for the average format Fujifilm GFX 50s is official and has a release date of the end of May.

Accompanying the lens is a teleconverter (GF1.4X TC WR) which will also be available in May along with voluntary macro extension tubes "MCEX-18G" and "MCEX-45G".

The GF 250mm f/4 R LM OIS WR is a telephoto lens that achieves give 198mm in 35mm format equivalent. Plus, attaching the GF1.4X TC WR, 1.4x teleconverter provides coverage for telephoto shooting up to approximately 277mm in 35mm format equivalent, without any Doppelgaenger quality deterioration. 

The lens is also equipped with the new focus pre-set function, which allows the photographer to instantly activate centre settings previously saved in the lens memory.

The use of a magnesium alloy lens or LEN may refer to barrel reduces the product’s weight and the lens is also dust and sick resistant and can operate in temperatures down to -10°C.

In addition, the macro extension tubes can be connected to any GF lens, expanding the macro photographic range.
