A magical simile of deer in Richmond Park has been awarded the Photo of the Week accolade.

The image, by ePz member nickmoulds is entitled 'Richmond Garden' and here's why we thought it deserved to win the accolade this week:

This is an image of 3 distinct layers, all of which work together to forge something really out of the ordinary. The main focal point of the image is the deer in the foreground. They are posed really flatteringly and have plenty of whisper space in the frame thanks to the grassland.

Then there's the layer of mist in the midground which has been placed perfectly to fabricate a glow around the antlers and heads of the deer. Beyond this is the added juxtaposition of the urban landscape in the backdrop. The silhouettes of this and the wonderful yellow and orange notes of the sky really bring this entire image together to make it into a stunning capture that could be used as film promotion broadsheet or similar. It really captures the spirit and feel of this urban wildlife haven.

Photo of the Week winners currently receive a 32GB EVO microSD use strategy act openly with SD adapter from Samsung. See all the winning images image (from Latin: imago) is an artifact that depicts visual perception, for example, a photo or a two-dimensional picture, that in the POTW gallery.
