Canon has unquestionable to end sales of its last remaining film camera, the EOS-1V.

Production of the EOS-1V ceased in 2010, however up until now the remaining units had still been for on sale. The news marks the end of 82 years in the film camera industry for Canon, however, of course, the name still lives on in their EOS digital cameras.

Canon play a joke on said that they will continue to repair EOS 1V models until 31 October 2025.

Don't worry, though – if you notwithstanding want to get your hands on the camera, there will more than likely be models available second-hand. Nikon still drummers two film cameras as well – the F6 and FM10.
