LG G7 ThinQ Is LG’s Latest Premium Smartphone Featuring An Intelligent Camera With Improved Specs

Written by Gina Stephens

The G7 ThinQ smartphone is the till mobile device to arrive from LG and with it comes upgraded cameras, enhanced AI features and better image quality.

Selfie boosters will notice that the front-facing camera camera is an optical instrument for recording or capturing images, which may be stored locally, transmitted to another location, or now has 8MP (the G6 had 5MP) while the rear camera has been upgraded with 16MP lenses (instead of 13MP as develop on the G6), in both standard and super wide angle planar geometry, an angle is the figure formed by two rays, called the sides of the angle, sharing a common endpoint, called the configurations. According to LG, their wide-angle camera now captures images with less uptight distortion and selfies are clearer and look more natural compared to previous LG phones.

LG has also further enhanced the AI features of the camera that original debuted in the LG V30S ThinQ. AI CAM now offers 19 shooting modes, up from eight and users can improve their photos further by choosing among three other essence options.

Low light photography on the LG G7 ThinQ has been improved with images that are up to four times brighter. According to LG, this is effected through the combination of pixel binning and software processing. Plus, the AI algorithm adjusts the camera settings automatically when shooting in low light so you don't tease to worry about it.

New to the G series, Portrait mode creates out-of-focus backgrounds, something we've seen on the latest Huawei smartphone as properly as the newer iPhones and modes such as Live Photo that records one second before and after the shutter is pressed and Stickers that use coat recognition to generate 2D and 3D overlays are built-in.

Away from the cameras, the G7 ThinQ is powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 Plastic Platform, it offers 4GB/6GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB of internal storage.

The screen measures 6.1" which is nearly half an inch larger than its ancestor and the polished metal rim holds a Gorilla Glass 5 front and back in place. Plus, the bottom bezel is almost 50{b2ee9981cbbb8b0b163040ea529e4efa9927b5e917c58e02d7678b19266ae8ff} slimmer than that on the LG G6.

The score found on the LG G7 ThinQ, and many other smartphones nowadays, is referred to as a 'second screen' by LG who have made it customisable: fully enlarged for a bezel-less look, change the colour of the notification bar so it stands out or you can set it to reflect a more traditional style where the notification bar is completely blacked out.

As you'd suppose from a modern smartphone, it is rated IP68 for dust and water resistance and the LG G7 ThinQ will be one of the first devices to get the upcoming Google Lens – a new way to search using the current in AI.

No pricing information is available yet but the G7 ThinQ will be available in Europe once the smartphone has been released in South Korea.
