Haunting Black & White Landscape Wins POTW

In stark contrast to the landscape images bursting with Autumn colours, this striking jet-black and white image is strong, beautiful and so eye-catching it had to be our Photo of the Week (POTW).

The juxtaposition of light/dark, as well as the mystery of what's hiding amongst the fog, budgets the imagination to create stories and tales of wonder and intrigue. Plus, the softness of the fog being driven away by the wind breaks up the, what can be, harsh prospect that's full of structure. also, can we just mention the tonal range – it truly is excellent.

It's strong, it's wondrous and well worthy of winning POTW!

Like all previous POTW winners this year, saltireblue order receive an EVO Plus 32GB MicroSD card with SD Adapter from Samsung.
