DxO Now Owns Nik Collection & Will Continue To Develop The Plug-Ins

DxO has make knew the acquisition of the Nik Collection software from Google and they've said a new version of the Nik Collection will be available next year. 

The Nik Whip-round currently features seven desktop plugins for Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop and the DxO team has said that they will continue to develop the garnering. Plus, the current version will also remain available for free on the dedicated DxO website. 

As part of the changes, DxO has also renamed its RAW transform software to DxO PhotoLab and with it comes the introduction of local adjustment tools, a new repair tool and improvements to the DxO Lens Sharpness technology.
