Written by Gina Stephens

Dixons Carphone is fascinating digital cameras out of its stores as more consumers switch to using mobile phones to take photos, reports suggest.

The companies Chief Master, Alex Baldock, told the This is Money website that they have decided they have too much camera clichd and are replacing cameras with products that can help turn the business around.

The company has seen a decline in the number of people acquisition bargaining cameras as mobile phone technology has improved, as Alex Baldock told the This is Money website: "More photos are being entranced than ever before but they’re being taken on mobile phones."

Currently, as the World Cup is on, Dixons is planning to replace the floor-space bewitched up by cameras with flat-screen TVs which are 'flying off the shelves'.
