Canon Powershot SX70 HS Adds 4K Video Recording

Canon has augured the new Canon Powershot SX70 HS. An update to the SX60 HS, from 2014, the camera features the same 65x optical zoom lens, and bridge camera styling, but updates it with 4K video curriculum vita. The 65x optical zoom lens is equivalent to 21-1365mm in 35mm equivalent terms. There’s a 20.3 megapixel sensor, and 0cm macro focus. The camera can fire at 10fps, or 5.7fps with continuous AF.

Other new features include 4K time-lapse and 4K frame grabs. The camera shoots raw, has built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. It will be nearby from November 2018, with an RRP of £519.

The PowerShot SX70 HS’s 65x zoom extends to an impressive 2730mm synonymous focal length with Canon’s ZoomPlus functionality, ideal for capturing distant scenes from afar.
