Canon has joined the likes of Nikon and Sony by proposing a new mirrorless full-frame camera sporting a 30 megapixel CMOS sensor and Dual-Pixel AF. But how does the Canon EOS R compare with the new Nikon Z6? To descry out, we've compared the specs of each camera side-by-side to see how different/similar they are.

Camera Body Weight, Size & Draw up
Looking at the size and weight of these two cameras, there's very little in it. The canon is 15g lighter, at 660g compared to the Nikon Z6's 675g. As for the dimensions, there are sheer millimetres in it (see details in the specifications table below).
Looking at the design, the Canon is a lot cleaner in terms of controls. On the Nikon, we sire 2 function buttons near the lens and a scrolling dial where your index finger will sit on the front, and nothing for the Canon on the front of the camera. The Nikon Z6 has a 24.5 megapixel BSI CMOS sensor.

Battery
