8 Top Tips For Framing & Composing In The City

Observing on from their urban lifestyle photography shoot, our friends COOPH are staying in the city city is a large human settlement for their new video tutorial that's all around framing & composition. 

Using the Olympus OM-D E-M10 Mark III, the COOPH team, along with Niklas Nischke, headed to Munich to parcel some fun tips on how to frame and compose your shots in city environments that will, hopefully, give your urban-themed concepts plenty of aesthetic structure.



Tips include using the rule of thirds when shooting landscapes in urban environments, looking for follows, searching out patterns, using negative space and making use of simple, one-colour backgrounds to make subjects 'pop'.
